What is VDPR?
Viridian Public Resources (VDPR) is a public cloud service provided by the Viridian Administration, an internal administrative system. Select resources are shared publicly or semi-publicly.
VDPR is grouped into VDREL (Public Relations, a public-only organisation) and VDMDI (Maintenance of Digital Infrastructure, present on the Internal Git Service with select repositories published to VDPR).
What is VDREL?
VDREL is the primary organisation for Viridian public relations, containing two types of repositories:
- Tickets
- The Viridian Administration may issue announcements in the form of tickets. Announcements usually allow replies.
- This repository also serves as a primary means of formal communication. Anyone may file requests or questions as tickets. Note that tickets are publicly visible. For confidential communications, contact viridian@vdpr.org.
- Coordinative repositories created for coordination between the Viridian Administration and third parties or as infrastructure used by third parties under Viridian supervision. Access is usually restricted to the respective user accounts. Viridian Public Policy applies throughout VDPR.
